Meet
Dr. Pasquale Eckert, DMD

Dr. Pasquale Eckert is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is proud to continue his family's legacy of providing exceptional surgical care to the Belmont community and surrounding areas.

About Dr. Eckert

Dr. Eckert grew up in Harvard, Massachusetts, and developed a passion for the specialty while assisting his father in college. He was drawn to oral and maxillofacial surgery because it allows him to bridge medicine, surgery, and dentistry, making every day interesting.

After joining the practice as a surgeon in 2021, he purchased the office from his father in April 2024, ensuring the continuation of the small, private practice model focused on patient care over corporate profits. This personal touch is critical to Dr. Eckert; when patients call after hours, they get him on the phone directly, receiving empathy and expert guidance when they need it most.

Education & Residency

Dr. Eckert pursued an undergraduate degree from Colby College, where he uniquely majored in both Sculpture Art and Biology. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he ranked at the top of his class and was honored to be voted class president for all four years.

He then completed his advanced training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and served as Chief Resident at Tufts Medical Center/Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Eckert received the Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Award for academic excellence and clinical aptitude as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; one of two recipients selected annually from a cohort of ten residents. During his residency, Dr. Eckert trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, becoming highly experienced in single and "full arch" implant placement, major and minor bone grafting, wisdom tooth extractions, oral pathology, anesthesiology, and reconstructive surgery.
