Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. pasquale eckert

Dr. Pasquale Eckert is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery out of Belmont and surrounding hospitals.  He grew up in Harvard, Massachusetts and pursued an undergraduate degree from Colby College in Maine.  He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University, where he ranked in the top of his class.  He then went on to complete his advanced training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and served as chief resident of the OMFS Department at Tufts Medical Center/Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Pasquale Eckert received the Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Award for academic excellence and clinical aptitude as a postdoctoral resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

During his residency, Dr. Pasquale Eckert trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, becoming highly experienced in single and “full arch” or “All-On-X” implant placement, major and minor bone grafting, oral pathology, treatment of facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, TMJ surgery, cosmetic surgery, orthognathic surgery and anesthesiology.  He uses virtual surgical planning preoperatively to design patient specific 3D printed orthognathic hardware and custom cutting guides for major procedures and pathology.  He also has extensive experience using guided dental implants.

In his spare time, Dr. Pasquale Eckert enjoys cooking and being active outdoors.  He’s an avid Boston sports fan.  He and his wife, Georgina, and their golden retriever, Poppy, live locally.
