2025 Second Chance Recipient: Kenneth
We are proud to recognize Kenneth Murray of Malden, Massachusetts as a 2025 Second Chance recipient. Kenneth has lived his entire adult life with missing, cracked, and crooked teeth—issues that worsened after having four teeth removed prior to open-heart surgery in 2021. He has never been able to afford the treatment he needs, and as a result, he avoids smiling, photos, and social situations.
Kenneth’s journey over the past four years has been defined by major medical challenges, including a rare heart defect, open-heart surgery, and recovery setbacks made even harder by COVID restrictions. Despite it all, he has worked to rebuild his health—losing 39 pounds and getting stronger every day. What has remained unchanged, however, is his dental pain and the impact it has on his confidence and daily life.
For Kenneth, restoring his smile means finally being able to feel “normal”—to participate in life without hiding, to appear in photos without embarrassment, and to enjoy both the health and emotional benefits of a complete, functional smile. He hopes this transformation will allow him to feel good about himself again and open doors to a fuller personal life.
Through a full-arch restoration, Kenneth will receive a permanent, natural-looking new smile supported by dental implants. This treatment will replace his missing and failing teeth, improve oral function, and give him the confidence he has never had the chance to experience.
We are honored to support Kenneth on this life-changing journey as he steps into a new chapter—stronger, healthier, and able to smile without hesitation.
