Dr. Blaise Eckert, DDS

Known for his calm and caring bedside manner, Dr. Blaise Eckert has committed his career to providing exceptional oral surgery. He believes in creating a supportive environment where every patient feels comfortable and confident in their treatment.

About Dr. Eckert

Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Eckert was inspired to pursue oral and maxillofacial surgery because it offered a desirable mix of dentistry, medicine, and surgery. After four years working as an associate in other OMS practices, he purchased his own independent solo practice in the greater Boston area in 1987, establishing a legacy of excellence and patient-focused care. For Dr. Eckert, the most rewarding aspect of his profession is the privilege of helping and assisting patients from all socioeconomic groups on a daily basis. He is known for being a calm, caring surgeon who, along with his support staff, ensures every patient feels comfortable and safe.

Education & Residency

Dr. Eckert graduated from the University of Buffalo with honors and distinction in Chemical Engineering. He then graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1980. Dr. Eckert completed his oral & maxillofacial surgical training at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he was appointed Chief Resident in 1983.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Dr. Eckert enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and fishing. He especially enjoys his family time with his wife, children, and four grandchildren.
