Local Anesthesia

For all procedures, a local anesthetic is used to completely numb the specific area being treated. You will remain fully conscious and aware, but you will not feel any pain at the surgical site. For many minor procedures, this is all that is needed.

Nitrous Oxide Anxiolysis (Laughing Gas)

Nitrous oxide is a mild sedative that is inhaled through a comfortable nasal mask. It induces a state of deep relaxation and well-being, helping to melt away anxiety while you remain conscious and able to communicate. The effects wear off very quickly after the procedure, allowing you to drive yourself home.

IV Sedation and Office-Based General Anesthesia

For patients with significant anxiety or for more complex surgical procedures, we offer both intravenous (IV) sedation and office-based general anesthesia. IV sedation places you in a safe, deeply relaxed "twilight sleep," where you are unaware of the procedure and will likely have no memory of it afterward. General anesthesia induces a state of deep, controlled unconsciousness for the duration of the surgery.
